This is a superb piano-wood box.  The inner insert even has magnets so that you can tilt the case to see the coins from different angles without the insert tipping out - now that's clever!  You do get the certificate of authenticity (COA).
The good Lord knows that the South African Mint is not perfect - most everyone else knows they are not perfect as well - but they could teach the US Mint a thing or two about presentation and display! Their wooden cases have historically been really nice but the latest design is truly world class.  Well, actually, they have the best mint packaging in the entire world.
You can store 2 (one ounce) krugerrands  in this if if you wanted to. For example, a proof and uncirculated.  Or maybe a regular proof and a privy-mark proof?  Or maybe a R2 and Krugerrand like what was originally in it?  You can even mix it up a bit and delve into the big five 5 Rand coins - It's all up to you as you'll be in the driver's seat! If it's a silver crown - it'll fit!

his original mint packaging is new and about as fresh as can be obtained state side.  I had these rushed to me once the mint started selling the set ( Hoo Boy! I caught everybody by surprise!!), then i stored a few sealed sets before eventually and sending to grading.  I requested the mint packaging to be returned and that's what we have right here.  It's been handled once to remove the coins and that's it ( I already had stock photos so these have been handled once by NGC and that is absolutely it).
You may think that these are on the expensive side.  You're right.  The mint didn't give these away, plus I had to pay to ship from South Africa, and then pay to have the mint packaging returned from grading (and pay for that service in addition to shipping). These are relatively heavy so 75% of the cost is to defray shipping this around the world. These cases are incredibly nice and you'll be very surprised at just how nice it is - it's worth the price. If you are not absolutely flabbergasted they can be returned for a refund for the original purchase price and the original shipping to you.
These are sturdy cases and it will cost me between to to ship one depending on your distance from Atlanta, Georgia.  I'll have to add a special combined shipping discount rule for these cases - you'll only have to pay for the actual shipping cost. If you order more than 2, the additional ones won't cost you anything in shipping (USA domestic only) as I'll use a flat rate box . You'll have to ask for an invoice to get the discount as I am unable to automate this.  Please read the entire shipping soliloquy farther down on this page.

International Shipping:  It's going to cost a lot to ship these internationally.  for the first one, for two, for three, for four. I am not sure what it will cost to ship 5 or 6 as they may go in a large flat rate box at a better rate but this will vary country by country. Ask for a quote for 5 or 6 cases to be shipped..
