This is a used softback in fair condition.
This is my personal working copy that I've recently upgraded. This book has obvious signs of wear and use.
This is pretty much every coin minted in South Africa, going back to the 1700's.  This has drawn images of both sides of the coin, the mintages, and approximate market value ( value is listed as 2018 value in South African Rands).
I didn't take photos of the introduction pages but each coin has a written introduction about each coin type and denomination.
This book (also known as "Hern's Catalog") is the South African coin collector's BIBLE.  It is oft referenced as far as mintage and catalog value.
I don't have the new edition for sale and don't anticipate having any to sell simply because international shipping is so expensive.
Please keep in mind that shipping from South Africa is VERY EXPENSIVE. It costs a lot to ship this book from South Africa - usually about pro-rata for shipping when sent as part of a  MUCH larger parcel of coins.  Also keep in mind that most sellers in South Africa will not ship to the USA so most collectors in the US aren't able to access this book except when I happen to sell my old working copies.
