    This is the
    RARE
    9 over 8 variety 1819 Matron Head Large Cent. This one does some corrosion but is still very nice and priced VERY LOW. If you are trying to put together a nice set at a reasonable price, look at the Large Cents that I am listing. I bought this back in the early 1980's and paid more than what my asking price is.
    This coin has honest wear from the hands of our founding fathers in the daily use in trade.  It is getting harder to find these older large cents. This is a strong, Very Fine+ 9 over 8 variety 1819 Large Cent at a very low starting price! Keep an eye on our eBay list as I will be placing more of my Large Cents on, as well as other fine coins.
